Who is this.... it's Daisy Doo!

Introducing Daisy Doo!

Daisy Doo

Yep, that's right, after all the trauma and heartache I've been through this year with Dixon's slipped disc and subsequent spinal surgery, I've gone ahead and got another one.

Daisy is from a rescue centre and is a very affectionate and lively 2yr old long haired miniature Dachshund.

I'll go into more detail about this sudden addition to the family tomorrow, plus will include some better pics.

Oh fantastic! She's adorable (not as good as Dixon, obviously).

I look forward to hearing nothing about her while you continue to blog about your plans for world domination (in whatever guise you choose).

You're a love.

PS My initialy reaction was "Fuck, Dixon's really let herself go! Why's she not been to the salon?" Then I realised it was a different pooch. I'm tired.

I'll get me coat.

But not as top as Dixon, obviously. Got to be careful here, don't want to cause any friction chez chimp.

Adorable!! I'm partial to the short-legged, long-backed dogs, owning corgis, myself. She's precious. Congratulations!

ahhhh! So, how are dachshunds then? I am thinking of getting a small dog...something that can require little running and be ok with me and the kids not being home till 5pm daily. Oh and something that doesn't have a weak stomach (so it can eat the crap my kids constantly spill off the floor) Is this a nice type then?

Dixon's a girl Rowan, but I'm sure she's very open-minded about that sort of thing.

awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....

I was watching clifford this morning, and I thought of Dixon as the daschund on the show, "Jorge" (I think) was complaining about being long since it made it hard to jump over puddles....

man...I need to stop watching along with my kids...

very sweet-I'm glad you got a rescue!

Rowan, you're describing a *Husband*, not a dog.

Another dog is always great...Well, as long as you aren't turning into the dachshund version of the cat lady who has 100 cats and shares her food with them.

I can't help thinking that having a lady friend won't do Dixon's back any good.

It certainly doesn't do mine any good, but then I don't have a problem climbing stairs with an erection..

Neither will Dixon, Steve Dix. REPEAT: DIXON IS A GIRL!
