Is it the links? Is it the lack of comment reciprocation?

Or is it just because Angry Chimp ain't as good as it used to be?

I'm aware that the links bit on the side there has 'mysteriously' (in a clean out) disappeared. I'm also aware that a lot of you like being linked to, not that anyone comes here anymore...

So anyway, let me know if you want me to set a link up to your lovely blog and I'll get on to it when I'm back from Strontian.

Tina - special task for you, you need to tell me why you think you should still be top of the list - what with you having soooo many other suitors.

Johnny Five
Not just 'box office' poison Johnny... You're killing the Angry Chimp *ahem*

I think this site has had its day . . .

It had a day? When was that?

So no link then anonymous???

I'm still reading, but I tend to use the RSS feed nowadays instead of actually coming to the site, which probably does your hits no good and reduces the temptation to comment since I don't get the wee link at the bottom of the post.

Hello Alex, I mostly use RSS meself - I axed the hit counter yonks ago. I've no idea if I get 2 hits or 200.

I'll set you up as a link.

I shouldn't have to tell you. Don't you remember Queuing at McDonald's? Death Row Big Brother? My lists of dietary requirements? Sam Black? How I checked back every day when you'd called it quits... just in case.

In blog world, you are my first, my last, my everything.

And I'm still the best.

Herge... I'm still a daily reader, though I tend to stay silent and opt out of commenting as I'm not nearly as cool as you or Tina. (It's okay. I've come to grips with it. I'm dealing.)

Very good, you have cheered up my terribly boring day. Although its not hard to improve on reading "the seven habits of highly effective people"!!!!

Herge Smith said...

Tina - hmm, not bad not bad.

Mr Lizard - tar but the last thing both myself and T. could ever be accused of is coolness.

Melissa - nobody knows this but the 5th habit of highly effective people is blowing off and blaming someone else.

Thing is, no one has ever read past the 3rd habit.

I'm still here and reading. I comment if I have something useful to add, which is not often, or if something really catches my eye, which accounts for pretty much all my comments here.

I don't know about anyone else, but the lack of links doesn't bother me. I'm not too worried about being linked to on all the cool blogs.

Using other peoples names to make stupid remarks is not clever, get your own name you jock!

I do think your blog is verging on cool though, I would watch that!!

Herge Smith said...

Hmm, not sure about any cool vergence...

What'd you like best? Daleks? Its the Daleks ain't it - everyone likes the Daleks.

And I almost cried when Dixon hurt herself.

I ALWAYS try to blog whenever I can - about ANYTHING. And I'm not restricted to any one particular theme, although admittedly I've become a bit personal journal of late.

AND I showed a photo of my injured breast on mine.

I know no shame.

There are no limits with cakesniffers and that's why it's the best.

melissa called you a jock! That is the ultimate insult. I can't imagine you in a bonnet and kilt swigging Buckfast from the bottle.

My brain rarely works anymore, but I do drop by more often than not...

Herge Smith said...

Okay Tina - you're top you're top.

Dr Max, you are a quality act and no mistake. As long as one person appreciates old TV robots then there is a reason to continue.

Garfer - what's more bizarre is that Melissa knows me - in real life!

Thordora - so glad you still pop in - we've at this for a long time now.

It should go without saying Herge... afterall I did send you a box of salmon and some green elf shorts.

Get it back up there slacker.

thordora said...

Whatever happened to the elf shorts anyway, hrm?

Dixon could always model them for us...

Peevish McSnark said...

MMmmmm, elf shorts. Wish I could see some elf shorts...

Seriously, Herge, I enjoy all of your photoshop work. Dalek & Borg, being of course, my favorite. And I wouldn't mind a link if you chose to put one here. I'd be honored, actually.

I think that we've all turned to silently reading, although these days I don't seem to have much to say on my blog, so everybody has stopped reading.

Could be the holidays though...

I still love ya, Herge!!

I don't blog as often as I used to now, but if you check out my daily reads, you'll see you're still at the top of the list.
