THE WEEKEND MAGAZINE: Grey dry rutting

Dee & Mike Pullan

Mike When I get back from the office, she always has my dinner ready and waiting for me on the table. Just like it should be, she always says. After dinner, I clear away the dishes and we will play a hand of Rummy or Crib. Sometimes there is a spot of digging in the garden to do. We like to be in bed before ten with a good book and occasionally, when we are feeling a bit frisky, a hot mug of choco.

Dee I keep a clean and tidy house. I get frustrated when a neighbour comes round and does not think to use a coaster under their cup of tea, or lets crumbs from the Battenberg fall on to the carpet which will inevitably get trampled into the shag. He is always saying that we will soon have to start eating corpses at the rate we are going through neighbours and homeless teenage prostitutes. Craig Taylor

Ah...the couple that no one would suspect. It's the neat freaks you have to watch out for...and the quiet ones.

It's so beautiful to know that there just may be the right match for everyone out there- even cannibals.

I sometimes wish I got the guardian in Canada, so I could compare the real tale to yours, yours is prolly better though
