Thordora - because us men are dumb as posts. You have to look to Karens comment for a clue as to what really is driving Dave's comment.
Dave fears gay men coming on to him - like Jerry Seinfeld said - "Most men worry about gay men because deep down they know they have low sales resistance - they may be talked into it" Of course this is balls - you don't get talked into it.
As for me, I went to a gay nightclub on new year and no one chatted me up - tsk, what am I? chopped liver?
Last time I went to a gay night club I got chatted up in the queue for the toliets by some woman trying to tell me that she babysat for Peter Kay. I told her that I thought he was old enough to look after himself now. She wasn't impressed.
I've never been chatted up by anybody.
I've been (scarily) told by a few people that "you're gay, you just don't know it yet". what does that even mean?
