"Tiramisu" is Italian for "pick me up" - or something like that. I don't eat it anymore because it's full of either brandy or marsala and it's a touch too boozy for me.
Oh April, it's a type of Italian trifle made with coffee & booze-soaked sponge, layered with whipped mascarpone cheese & cream (with more booze) and chocolate powder. It's actually fucking delish and I can't believe you've never heard of it.
damn it! i knew i recognized that river bank! i should have known that the strangeways were going to show up. i suppose its only a matter of time before a dalek appears as well.
I knew it was the riverbank, but I just thought you'd saved yourself the effort of producing something brand new when you already had a masterpiece to work from. How naive and unimaginative I am. I'd think out of the box if I could found out how to get into it in the first place.
Rowan, tiramisu is more creamy than English trifle and it has no jelly in it. It is indeed fuckin' delish. Make some if you can't find any in the shops, it's a complete doddle.
Tiramisu IS the best most creamy, boozish, chocolatey, coffeeish dessert EVER! I wonder how many kids have been conceived from a tiramisu induced high???

Excellent use of the word 'ennui'.
Tar. I figure when you're banging' out prose you might just as well chuck in some fancy schmancy words.
YEEEEEEEAH!!!!!! Strangeways!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm impressed with your rhyming ability, Herge.
Holy shit, it's a long one! lghvkmbt
'ennui' ryhmes with 'jamboree'. Much potential there for future pometastic masterpieces.
Wow, that's some piece of work Herge. Excellent stuff and nice use of tiramisu too, even if some of us aren't allowed to eat it.
Nice to see the Strangeways child wearing his scarf properly too.
Thanks Karen - always pleased to hear a lady say I've got a long one - ho ho.
Garfer - taken under consideration for a furture poem entitled - 'The tragic ennui at the village jamboree'
Tina - why no Tiramisu for you?
Why no Tiramisu... it's the fuckig name. What kind of name is Tiramisu? Isn't that like mashed cod roe or something disgusting like that?

What a pleasant surprise....the Strangeways characters! I certainly wasn't expecting them to be here! Excellent!
I shall have to look for this Tiramisu...sounds absolutely delicious and something like English Trifle? (my favourite dessert by far).

No Daleks are scheduled to appear at this time.
I'm a big fan of recycling old pictures.
